Sony has announced that the remake of RoboCop is set to hit theaters on August 9th, 2013.
The remake will be directed by Jose Padilha (Elite Squad) with a script written by Joshua Zetumer. Playing the title role will be Joel Kinnaman (The Killing) who, just recently, closed the deal with MGM.
