Today's recommendation is another short film (26 mins.), but just like Mickey's Christmas Carol, I consider it a Christmas classic. In fact, if you haven't seen this one, see it immediately.
Dr. Suess' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966)
Directed by Chuck Jones and Ben Washam
"A grumpy hermit hatches a plan to steal Christmas from the Whos of Whoville." (IMDB.com)
What makes this a great flick? Well, for one, it's narrated by the horror icon Boris Karloff. Two, Max (the dog) is adorable. Three, it's sweet and has meaning. Four, the story was written by Dr. Suess and Chuck Jones did the animation/directing. You can't get much better than that!
