Grey's Anatomy: Sara Ramirez Talks Calzona to THR

Obligatory Spoiler Warning! Warning... warning... warning... possible spoilers ahead! Turn back now if you don't want to know what to expect when it comes to Callie and Arizona in the season 10 premiere of Grey's Anatomy!

Sara Ramirez (Dr. Callie Torres) took time to do an interview with The Hollywood Reporter to talk about her character and what the future possibly could hold for Callie and Arizona (Calzona) when season 10 of Grey's Anatomy begins on September 26th at 9pm on ABC.

What to expect from her character during the season 10 premiere (which will take off pretty much right where the season 9 finale ended):

"Initially, we see Callie in a very reactive state and she's very open about what she's feeling. She's not taking it well; she's enraged, she's broken-hearted, she's devastated."

When it comes to the Callie and Arizona:

"Callie and Arizona have a lot of work to do but they have to get past the first initial reactive acting out-type stuff that people typically go through."

If/When they do rekindle the relationship, could a legal marriage (Washington has since legalized same-sex marriage) happen?

"Shonda's passionate about reflecting back to the audience about the world that we live in. Whether she's going to do that with Callie and Arizona I don't know, or through other characters maybe. But I've heard her talk about how great it would be to seize marriage equality and a [legalized] marriage occur. That would be amazing. So much is changing and so quickly. We're living in a really great time."

The article does note that Arizona will be trying very hard to engage Callie in anyway she can during the two-hour season 10 premiere, but it appears that Callie may not want to talk to her because she is so angry/heartbroken, etc. which is understandable. However, I think at some point, Callie will listen to Arizona, but they will still separate and take time to think about what each of them really wants and of course, Arizona will have to seek help with her issues (PTSD and her resentment towards Callie for breaking her promise). After that, then they can work on their relationship if that's what they want.

Click HERE to read the rest of the interview over at The Hollywood Reporter and I highly recommend you do because it's a good read and I think it could ease some of the bad feelings that Calzona fans could be having about the couple's future. Hopefully more and more hints/spoilers will be released soon as a way to completely take away all of the bad feelings about Calzona being done for good. Keeping fingers crossed!

Grey's Anatomy: Sara Ramirez Talks Calzona's Future

This post may contain spoilers...

On Wednesday, The Hollywood Reporter went to the set of ABC's hit show Grey's Anatomy. While there, they talked to Sara Ramirez (Dr. Callie Torres) about Callie and Arizona's relationship and what the future holds for the couple.

Here are some highlights:
"After she comes back to the hospital, you'll definitely see outside of the hospital that they try taking baby steps toward what they remember having," Ramirez teases, noting that Alex's role in Arizona's amputation is always in the back of Callie's mind. "They have to deal with the fact that it's not as easy as they'd hoped. It was getting rough there for a while but Callie continues to show up and to try as best as she knows how because she loves her wife."
"The tragedy makes the lighter, funnier, intimate moments so meaningful and so much more powerful because the audience is so hungry for it when it finally comes," she says of "Calzona's" story line."
"That opportunity could arise at Bailey's (Chandra Wilson) wedding when Callie and Arizona discover some new things with each other. "We have some fun, light moments to look forward to," she says with a smile. "Maybe some rekindling."
To that, I say finally! Although, for anyone who saw last night's episode, I Was Made For Lovin' You, it appears that the couple are on their way to getting back to where they were before the plane crash. I look forward to more of those moments, especially episode 10 because that's the episode that will feature Shonda's favorite Calzona scene of season 9.

Sequel to "Bridesmaids" Could Happen...Without Kristen Wiig

Universal is thinking about doing a sequel to Bridesmaids, but it would be done without star and co-writer Kristen Wiig.

The Hollywood Reporter talked to Wiig about whether she and her co-writer, Annie Mumolo, are working on a sequel.

"We aren't working on that. Annie and I aren't planning a sequel. We are writing something else."
Why isn't she and her writing partner working on a sequel to the box office hit? The word is that Wiig and her co-stars (Maya Rudolph, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ellie Kemper, Melissa McCarthy and Rose Byrne) weren't too happy with a bonus of only $100,000 which they and others felt was pretty low considering how much the film made. Wiig declined to comment when asked if she was disappointed with the bonus.

With Wiig out, Universal isn't giving up hope for a sequel according to a rep for the studio.
"We are over the moon with the success of Bridesmaids, and if we do a sequel we want to get it right. We are talking to filmmakers now about concepts, and if the right one emerges, we'll move forward."
On a budget of $32 million, the film grossed $288 worldwide. The film has received award nominations including the Golden Globes where it's been nominated for Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical.

As much as I loved Bridesmaids, I really don't think a sequel is necessary. Would I watch it if it did happen? Sure, but without Wiig and Mumolo on board as writers, I won't be expecting anything close to the original.

AFM's Most Outrageous Movie Posters According to The Hollywood Reporter

The Hollywood Reporter has chosen the top 20 most outrageous, amusing and/or over-the-top promotional movie posters from this year's American Film Market.

While the majority of the posters are amusing or over-the-top, I found some to be pretty boring.

One of my favorites:

The poster that had me asking "what the f***?!":
