Kris Jenner's Talk Show Has Been Canceled

Radar Online is reporting that Kris Jenner's talk show, Kris, has been canceled amid low ratings (0.8) after a six-week trial run. Despite getting a slight bump in viewers when Kanye West appeared on the show and showed a picture of his and Kim Kardashian's baby North West, it still wasn't enough to persuade FOX executives to keep the show going.

Is anyone really surprised by this news? No? I thought not.

Grey's Anatomy: Patrick Dempsey Could Stay Past Season 10

In an interview with TVLine, Patrick Dempsey talked about his love of racing and his future with Grey's Anatomy.

TVLINE | Is creating a little more flexibility in your Grey’s schedule important to you as you consider signing on for Season 11?
Everything is open to a conversation at this point. Grey’s has been such a remarkable ride. Shonda [Rhimes] has been incredibly supportive. I enjoy Grey’s more than ever in many ways. Our relationships have grown considerably. We’ve all matured over the last 10 years. So it would be a shame to end this.

Dempsey goes on to add that negotiations are going on, so as of now, it's just a waiting game to see if he chooses to continue with the show or move on to his racing full-time.

Be sure to head on over to TVLine to read the rest of the interview and see what he has to say about racing and Patrick Dempsey: Racing Le Mans which premieres this Wednesday on Discovery and Velocity at 10pm.

Naya Rivera: Demi Lovato's Character to Romance Santana in Season 5 of 'Glee'

Sorry, Brittana fans, but Demi Lovato's character will be a love interest for Santana (Naya Rivera).

Rivera confirmed the news to People.com, "She's playing my love interest, so I'm very, very excited about it. We get to sing a song together."

Lovato is set to make her first appearance as Dani in the October 3rd episode and the character is being described by TVLine as "a NYC-based struggling artist friend of Rachel and Santana’s. She will also interact frequently with Adam Lambert’s incoming character, and the pair will have several musical numbers together."

As of now, she is set to appear in six episodes, but I'm sure that if everything goes well, she will get an extension.

Lee Thompson Young Dead at 29 [UPDATE]

UPDATE: Young's publicist has confirmed to TMZ that the actor did take his own life:

"It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning ... Lee was more than just a brilliant young actor, he was a wonderful and gentle soul who will be truly missed."

Lee Thompson Young (Rizzoli & Isles, The Famous Jett Jackson) is dead in what could be a possible suicide.

According to authorities, when the actor didn't show up for work on the set of TNT's hit show Rizzoli & Isles, people connected with the show called his landlord to check on him and that's when he was found of what they're saying looks like a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was 29.

Shonda Rhimes Posts Spoilery "Grey's Anatomy" Pic, Promptly Deletes It

Are you ready for a spoiler pic?!

No? Then, move along.

Yes? Then, continue.

On Wednesday, Shonda Rhimes (creator of Grey's Anatomy) posted a pic to her Twitter account and needless to say, she deleted the pic soon after because it contained a very big spoiler.

View the pic below if you don't mind being spoiled:

Why is the pic considered a spoiler? Well, for anyone who doesn't remember, the exact fate of Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) is unknown because the last we saw of him during the season 9 finale was him unconscious after being electrocuted and all Shonda has said is that we will see him again, but she's not giving anything away as to whether he survived or died. The pic obviously lets us know that he'll back, but in what way? Did he survive? Did he die and the only way we'll see him is in flashbacks? I guess we'll have to wait until September 26th to find out for sure, so be sure to tune in!

Until then, be sure to pre-order or pick up season 9 of Grey's Anatomy that will be released on DVD on August 27th!

Rizzoli & Isles Renewed for Season 5

TNT announced that their hit show, Rizzoli & Isles, has been renewed for a fifth season. The renewal should come as no surprise since the show has average 8.4 million viewers and is in cable's top five dramas in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic.

Grey's Anatomy: Sandra Oh Leaving After Season 10!

Yes, it's true... yesterday, Sandra Oh (Dr. Cristina Yang) announced that she will not return to Grey's Anatomy after season 10.

The news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter in an exclusive interview with the actress who has been with the ABC drama since the very beginning.

Click the link above to read the article because trust me, you will want to.

Oh may have been the first to announce her plans to leave the show, but I don't think she'll be the last. I fully expect Patrick Dempsey to announce his decision to leave the show after the upcoming season and Ellen Pompeo could follow suit soon after. Actually, I'll be shocked if either of them decide to stay past season 10. I just get a feeling that they're ready to move on and I don't think we'll have to wait much longer before anymore announcements are released regarding their and others (Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens Jr.) decisions about their future with or without the show.

SPOILER: Will Mia Kirshner Be Back for Season 2 of "Defiance"? TVLine Has the Answer!

Spoilers ahead!

Spoilers ahead!

Spoilers ahead!

On the August 6th edition of Ask Ausiello over at TVLine, a question was asked regarding Mia Kirshner and if she would return for season 2 of Defiance.

For those who need a refresher, we last saw Kirshner's character, Kenya Rosewater, being sung to by Stahma Tarr (Jaime Murray) out in the woods after being poisoned. Of course, questions about Kenya's fate were raised soon after the season finale. Is she really dead? Did Stahma just knocked her out and then hide her out somewhere only to return to her later?

Well, let's see what Michael Ausiello has to say and for all the Mia, Kenya and/or Kenya/Stahma fans, you might like what you're about to read:

Question: Do you really think that Kenya is dead on Defiance? Or has Stahma squirreled her way somewhere so they can keep up their lady-loving ways? –Cinders
Ausiello: Let’s just say that production on Season 2 starts Monday, and a certain someone’s name is MIA (as in Kirshner) from this returning cast list: Grant Bowler, Julie Benz, Stephanie Leonidas, Tony Curran, Jaime Murray, Graham Greene, Jesse Rath, Dewshane Williams, Trenna Keating, Justin Rain and Nicole Munoz.

So, there you have it...the odds that she will be back aren't good unless she is resurrected later on in season 2. Will that happen? I don't think it will, but hey, you never know! Don't fret Mia fans because according to Showcase, she has been added to the cast of Lost Girl (which is currently in production) and while it won't air until 2014, at least there is something to look forward to, right?

Grey's Anatomy: Sara Ramirez Talks Calzona to THR

Obligatory Spoiler Warning! Warning... warning... warning... possible spoilers ahead! Turn back now if you don't want to know what to expect when it comes to Callie and Arizona in the season 10 premiere of Grey's Anatomy!

Sara Ramirez (Dr. Callie Torres) took time to do an interview with The Hollywood Reporter to talk about her character and what the future possibly could hold for Callie and Arizona (Calzona) when season 10 of Grey's Anatomy begins on September 26th at 9pm on ABC.

What to expect from her character during the season 10 premiere (which will take off pretty much right where the season 9 finale ended):

"Initially, we see Callie in a very reactive state and she's very open about what she's feeling. She's not taking it well; she's enraged, she's broken-hearted, she's devastated."

When it comes to the Callie and Arizona:

"Callie and Arizona have a lot of work to do but they have to get past the first initial reactive acting out-type stuff that people typically go through."

If/When they do rekindle the relationship, could a legal marriage (Washington has since legalized same-sex marriage) happen?

"Shonda's passionate about reflecting back to the audience about the world that we live in. Whether she's going to do that with Callie and Arizona I don't know, or through other characters maybe. But I've heard her talk about how great it would be to seize marriage equality and a [legalized] marriage occur. That would be amazing. So much is changing and so quickly. We're living in a really great time."

The article does note that Arizona will be trying very hard to engage Callie in anyway she can during the two-hour season 10 premiere, but it appears that Callie may not want to talk to her because she is so angry/heartbroken, etc. which is understandable. However, I think at some point, Callie will listen to Arizona, but they will still separate and take time to think about what each of them really wants and of course, Arizona will have to seek help with her issues (PTSD and her resentment towards Callie for breaking her promise). After that, then they can work on their relationship if that's what they want.

Click HERE to read the rest of the interview over at The Hollywood Reporter and I highly recommend you do because it's a good read and I think it could ease some of the bad feelings that Calzona fans could be having about the couple's future. Hopefully more and more hints/spoilers will be released soon as a way to completely take away all of the bad feelings about Calzona being done for good. Keeping fingers crossed!

ABC Entertainment President: Season 10 Will Not Be the Last Season For "Grey's Anatomy"

Talking to the TCA (Television Critics Association), ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee said that the upcoming 10th season of Grey's Anatomy will not be the final season.

"[Shonda Rhimes] is planning a number of [season's] out… We would like to see it on the network for many years to come."

While this is good news for fans of the long running tv show, fans of Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo and Sandra Oh may not like the fact that Lee wouldn't comment on their futures with the show. All he said was, "If I commented on who is coming in and out, I think Shonda would yell at me."

The fact that he wouldn't comment on the issue and the fact that their contracts are up in May, I'd be surprised if they come back. If they do come back at all, it'll probably be in a "special guest star" capacity.

It was also confirmed that Grey's Anatomy and their other hit dramas (Scandal, Nashville, Once Upon a Time and Revenge) will have a split-season schedule. That means that the first half of the season will air with no breaks, there will then be a hiatus of about two months and then, the final half of the season will air with no breaks.

Personally, I'm happy with the split-season news because it was pretty annoying getting a few new episodes and then have to deal with one repeat or more before a new episode. Plus, it's a good way to keep viewers because I can remember reading comments during season 9 about people feeling the same way I did and how some missed a new episode because they weren't aware that there was going to be a new episode that week. I think the split-season idea will solve those issues and I'm happy about that.
