Sorry, Brittana fans, but Demi Lovato's character will be a love interest for Santana (Naya Rivera).Rivera confirmed the news to People.com, "She's playing my love interest, so I'm very, very excited about it. We get to sing a song together."
Lovato is set to make her first appearance as Dani in the October 3rd episode and the character is being described by TVLine as "a NYC-based struggling artist friend of Rachel and Santana’s. She will also interact frequently with Adam Lambert’s incoming character, and the pair will have several musical numbers together."
As of now, she is set to appear in six episodes, but I'm sure that if everything goes well, she will get an extension.
