Variety is reporting that Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan, The Hunger Games) has landed the lead role in the upcoming remake of Dario Argento's 1977 horror flick Suspiria.The original followed an American ballet student, Suzie, who discovers that the academy she's attending in Germany is being controlled by a coven of witches.
David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express) is set to direct. He also co-wrote the script with Chris Gebert.
Production will begin in September.
