Dimension Films has announced that Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical) will star in Scary Movie 5. Malcolm Lee (The Best Man, Soul Men) is set to direct. Co-writing the sequel will be the writer and director of Scary Movie 3 and Scary Movie 4 David Zucker. He'll also serve as a producer.
Production is set to begin this summer and it's been given a release date of January 11, 2013.
