Today, HBO announced that actress Julianne Moore will play former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin in an upcoming film about the 2008 presidential election.The film is based on "Game Change", a 2010 best-selling book written by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, which detailed the 2008 presidential campaign. HBO said that the film will focus on John McCain's campaign.
The script was written by Danny Strong (Recount) and Jay Roach (Austin Powers and Recount) will direct.
I was a bit surprised when I first read that Moore was chosen to play Palin, but the more I think about it, the more I like and agree with the decision.
