Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there!

To everyone who doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving, Happy Thursday! :)

I'll be spending the day with my family where we'll eat some good food thanks to my mom and watch some football (go 49ers!). I'll probably end the day with a movie. I'm thinking about watching Fast Five (2011), but it could change.

Whatever you end up doing that day, have fun and be safe.

To end this post, I give you a video clip from 2008 that features Sarah Palin and the pardon of a turkey. What happens after the pardon is when it gets hilariously awkward because while she's fielding questions from the media, she's completely oblivious to the fact that turkeys are being slaughtered right behind her.

HBO has released the first photo of Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin. I have to say that she certainly looks the part!

Moore was chosen to play Palin for the HBO film titled Game Change. The film, based on the best-selling book of the same name, will focus on John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign.

Playing John McCain will be Ed Harris and Melissa Farman (Lost and Temple Grandin) has been chosen to portray Bristol Palin.

Julianne Moore to Play Sarah Palin in Upcoming Film

Source: CNN.com

Today, HBO announced that actress Julianne Moore will play former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin in an upcoming film about the 2008 presidential election.

The film is based on "Game Change", a 2010 best-selling book written by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, which detailed the 2008 presidential campaign. HBO said that the film will focus on John McCain's campaign.

The script was written by Danny Strong (Recount) and Jay Roach (Austin Powers and Recount) will direct.

I was a bit surprised when I first read that Moore was chosen to play Palin, but the more I think about it, the more I like and agree with the decision.
