I got 16 out of 24 correct or 67%. Not bad, not bad.

The worse category of the night was Best Original Song. For one, only two songs?! If that was the case, they should've just scrapped the category from the show. Another thing, what happened to the songs being performed like previous years? Again, just scrap the category.

The 32nd Annual Razzie Awards: And The Nominees Are...

The nominations for the 32nd Annual Razzie Awards have been announced and it's not looking good for Adam Sandler because he has been nominated for 11 Razzies this year, a new record! The previous record holder was Eddie Murphy with five nominations back in 2007.

The "winners" will be announced on Sunday, April 1st (April Fool's Day). Will any of the nominees be there to accept their award if they were to "win"? It's very, very rare that anyone does because in the 31 years that the Razzies have been around, only three celebrities have shown up: Tom Green for Freddie Got Fingered (2001), Halle Berry for Catwoman (2004) and Sandra Bullock for All About Steve (2009). Those three showed that they have a sense of humor and can laugh at themselves which is good to see.

The Razzies Shake Up Their Schedule

On Tuesday, January 24th, the nominations for the 84th Academy Awards were announced. The day before, the nominations for the 32nd Razzie Awards were supposed to be announced. That didn't happen because this year, the co-owners of the Razzies, John Wilson and Mo Murphy, decided to shake things up.

This year, April Fool's Day will fall on a Sunday, so it's been decided that the winners will be announced on that day. The nominations will be announced on the eve of the Oscars, Saturday, February 25th.

In the statement, the change is explained:
"When they got a look at the 2012 calendar, John Wilson and Mo Murphy, co-owners of the RAZZIES, saw a unique opportunity to do something they’ve wanted to do since their awards were created in 1980: Emphasize the RAZZIES’ comedic intent by unveiling the “winners” of Tinsel Town’s Tackiest Trophy on APRIL FOOLS’ DAY (Sunday, April 1, 2012)."
The Razzies "honor" the worst achievement in film...in a light-hearted way, of course. Last year, The Last Airbender "won" for Worst Picture of 2010. Something tells me that Jack and Jill is going to take home that honor this year. We'll find out on April Fool's Day!
