Starring: Thora Birch, Steve Buscemi and Scarlett Johansson
"Set in the summer after graduation, Enid and Rebecca are both outsiders in a world slowly being engulfed by fake 50's diners and Starbucks. Enid must attend an art class to officially graduate high school as Rebecca gets a job. When the two play a mean joke on a much older, geeky record collector, Enid finds a fellow soul and begins to discover the complexities of becoming an adult in the modern world." (Ed Williams)
Earlier today, Shonda Rhimes responded to a question on Twitter from a fan who wanted to know "the vibe" for season 9 of Grey's Anatomy.
Her reply to the fan was:
In the room, I'm calling GA season 9, "The Season of Romance."
A "season of romance" would make sense considering several of the doctors were involved in a plane crash which claimed, for now, one life (Lexie Grey) and such an event would make anyone realize just how much their loved ones mean to them and they'll want to express that. I see this happening for Cristina/Owen, Derek/Meredith and Callie/Arizona (if Arizona survives). Almost losing the person you love will make them want to treasure each moment and even rekindle strained relationships (Cristina/Owen).
The only person I don't see having much romance in season 9 would be Mark if he is to survive the injuries he suffered in the crash. While he wasn't with Lexie at the time, he was in love with her, so if he survives, it's going to be tough road ahead for him. The same can be said about Callie if Arizona dies and I hope that doesn't happen because I want to see more Calzona romance!
Romance won't just happen for the couples affected by the plane crash. Don't forget about Bailey and Ben. They got engaged at the end of season 8 and I see them getting married at some point, but I don't necessarily think it'll happen in season 9.
Then there's Jackson and April. They got together at the end of season 8 with April having regrets mainly due to her religious beliefs. Will they become a couple or just remain friends. Personally, I'm kind of hoping that they get together as a couple. I think they would be cute together, but I wouldn't be upset if they decided to just stay friends.
Starring: Barbara Anne Constable, Christopher J. Hart and Claudia Angelique Rademaker
"The spirit of an ancient evil queen possesses the body of a young anthropological student, who then goes on a murderous rampage." (IMDB.com)
The best way I can describe this blatant rip off of The Terminator (1984) is that it's an awesome piece of shit! Everything about it is horrible and that's what makes it so awesome! This is a movie that you have to see in order to understand the awesomeness of it, so see it...now!
*This post will focus on a tweet from Jessica Capshaw who plays Dr. Arizona Robbins on the ABC show Grey's Anatomy. Look for more posts like this as more tweets/news is released.*
Not only am I fan of Grey's Anatomy, butI'm also a fan of Dr. Callie Torres and Dr. Arizona Robbins who are also known as Calzona to the fans of the couple. I definitely don't want Arizona to die in the season 9 premiere, but there is a chance she could since she wasn't in the best shape seeing as she suffered a horrible leg wound in the crash and was even coughing up blood.
With filming underway, I decided to check out Jessica Capshaw's (Arizona Robbins) Twitter page and about two hours ago, she tweeted a message basically saying that she wouldn't confirm or deny if she was going to back to soon.
"Dear Grey's fans, Stop trying to trick me into telling you if I am going back to work soon ;) I'm not spilling the beans... XX Jessica"
Unfortunately, one can take that tweet and use it as evidence that she is or isn't coming back.
The case that she is coming back...she wants to keep the fans in anticipation and not give anything away until filming begins and spoilers begin to leak. Her using the winking emoticon can be seen as a hint to her fans that she is coming back.
The case that she isn't coming back...she doesn't want to disappoint fans this soon.
Here is what we know. Jessica Capshaw will show up to work at some point for the season 9 premiere because she was still alive as season 8 ended. The big question is whether she'll live or die during the premiere episode? I, for one, hope that she makes it.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be chased by zombies? Oh c'mon, don't be shy, you know you've thought about it! Well, thanks Derrick Rose and Ryan Hogan, Baltimore-based entrepreneurs and fans of The Walking Dead, you can now experience just that in a 5K obstacle course race called Run For Your Lives.
During the race, participants will have to "navigate muddy culverts, tanks of fake blood and other creepy obstacles" while racing against the clock and zombies, so expect things to be very messy!
The first race was held on October 22, 2011 outside of Baltimore. Participants were given belts with flags attached, just like flag football, before tackling the course that featured several hundred zombies. If a runner crossed the finished line with at least one flag still attached, they successfully made it out alive. If a runner lost all of their flags, they were considered dead, but in order to not be considered a zombie, they still had to cross the finish line.
The race features two kinds of zombies. First, there are the Stumbler Zombies. Those type of zombies are featured in films such as Night of the Living Dead (1968) and Dawn of the Dead (1978). The second type of zombie are the Chaser Zombies which are featured in the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead and Zombieland (2009).
You can check out the Run For Your Lives website HERE for more information and to see if a race will come to a town near you.
I don't know about you, but I think this race sounds awesome and hopefully it continues for a while and makes its way to more places because I'd like to participate. Not only do I think it would be fun, but I would find out if I could survive a zombie apocalypse.
Well, another Friday the 13th is here and that means that I'll watching one of the films from the Friday the 13th series. Friday the 13th Part III is calling my name, so most likely, that's what I'll be watching.
It appears that Ed Helms (The Office, The Hangover I & II) is currently in negotiations with New Line to play Rusty Griswold in their upcoming flick Vacation.
For anyone who doesn't know, Rusty Griswold is the son of Clark Griswold (played by Chevy Chase) and Ellen Griswold (played by Beverly D'Angelo) from the National Lampoon Vaction series.
The script was written by the writers of Horrible Bosses, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. They are also set to direct.
It's being said that this upcoming comedy will "follow Rusty, who now has his own family misadventures on the road." So, it'll just be like the other Vacation flicks, but will focus on Rusty Griswold and his family.
Production will most likely begin in the spring because Helms has to finish his work on The Office and The Hangover Part III.
I wonder if Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo will have a cameo as the parents? I sure hope so.
It appears that Lindsay Lohan is in talks for Scary Movie 5. TheWrap, who reported the news, is saying that "an individual with knowledge of the situation" confirmed the news to them.
It is known that Ashley Tisdale has signed on to star in the film with Malcolm Lee set to direct a script co-written by David Zucker.
Shooting is set to begin later this summer and a release date of April 19, 2013 has been set.
Starring: Jason Segel, Ed Helms, Susan Sarandon, Judy Greer and Rae Dawn Chong
"Starring Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, TV's How I Met Your Mother), Ed Helms (Hangover I & II) and Academy-Award™ winner Susan Sarandon, Jeff Who Lives at Home is the story of one man's hilarious and surprising search for the meaning of life. As slacker Jeff stumbles towards enlightenment, he uncovers surprising answers to his nagging family's problems along the way. Jeff has no idea where he's going but when he finally gets there, he might just find out what it's all about in this "gem of a movie that is funny, tender and ultimately moving." I'm going to have a pretty laid back day today. While I'm not really in the mood to set off some fireworks tonight, I'm sure that's what I'll do. I'm planning on watching God Bless Americalater tonight after the fireworks have died down or else I'll have to try to watch it with dogs barking and that just wouldn't be fun.
To everyone else around the world, Happy Wednesday! :)
Starring: Sean Astin, Michael Vartan and David Cross
"What goes around comes around for a pair of prank-playing tire salesmen (Astin and Vartan) who find themselves placed in secretarial jobs by their put-upon boss (Cross)." (IMDB.com)
Predictable and unoriginal, but highly amusing with raunchy humor which caused me to laugh out loud several times.
