It's being reported by Deadline that Mel Gibson is in "serious discussions" to join Machete Kills in a supporting role.The news of Gibson joining Machete Kills should be no surprise to some as Robert Rodriguez mentioned earlier this month that he was hoping to get Gibson to join the film. He also expressed interest in getting Michelle Williams to join, but so far, no word on how that is going.
The sequel to Machete (2010) will be about Machete (Danny Trejo) being "drafted by the US government to track an arms dealer through Mexico before he can launch a rocket.
