First Photo of Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin

HBO has released the first photo of Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin. I have to say that she certainly looks the part!

Moore was chosen to play Palin for the HBO film titled Game Change. The film, based on the best-selling book of the same name, will focus on John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign.

Playing John McCain will be Ed Harris and Melissa Farman (Lost and Temple Grandin) has been chosen to portray Bristol Palin.

"American Reunion" Gets Release Date

According to Deadline, Universal Pictures has announced that American Reunion will be released on April 6, 2012.

Several original cast members have signed on and they are Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein, Seann William Scott and Eugene Levy. Still in negotiations are Tara Reid, Mena Suvari, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Jennifer Coolidge. I believe that they will sign on before filming is set to begin on May 24th and if they don't, I'll be shocked.

Some possible plot details have been released, but since I consider them to be spoilers, I'm not going to post them here. Instead, I'll provide the link HERE thanks to Collider.com.

'Call of the Dead' Trailer

The trailer for the zombie map, Call of the Dead, that will be part of the Escalation map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops has been released. Check it out below!

I like the grindhouse style and while I'm not that big into the zombie maps, the trailer won me over and I'll be giving it a try.

Xbox 360 users will be able to download the map pack on May 3rd. The price will be, most likely, 1200 Microsoft points.

Chris Klein Signs On for "American Reunion"

According to People, Chris Klein has made a deal with Universal Pictures to reprise his role as Chris 'Oz' Ostreicher in American Reunion. He joins Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Seann William Scott and Eugene Levy as the only original cast members, so far, who have signed on for the upcoming movie.

Still in negotiations are Tara Reid, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Coolidge. Something tells me that they will sign on and to be honest, I'm surprised they haven't done so already.

Filming is set to begin on May 24th.

Escalation Map Pack Video Preview for CoD: Black Ops

The video preview of the Escalation map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops is here!

I mentioned it in my earlier post about the map pack, but I'll mention it again, it'll be available on May 3rd for Xbox 360 users first. My guess is that it'll become available for the PS3 and PC a month later on June 3rd.

Unfortunately, there is no mention of the Zombie map called Call of the Dead.

Blu-Ray/DVD Releases I'm Looking Forward To...April Edition

For the two movies that I'm about to mention here, a synopsis of each will not be enough. Instead, I'm going to post trailers because one has to see for themselves that these two movies are so bad, they're awesome. They are ridiculous in almost every way and that's why they're so fun to watch.

Both of the releases will be Blu-Ray only, but the DVD editions are already out there, so check them out if you dug the trailers.

Alyson Hannigan Signs on for "American Reunion"

Alyson Hannigan has signed on for American Reunion. She joins Jason Biggs, Eugene Levy and Seann William Scott as being the only original cast members, so far, that have completed deals with Universal Pictures to appear in the upcoming movie.

It was previously reported that the studio was talking with Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Coolidge in hopes that they agree to come back and reprise their roles. There is still no news on how those negotiations are going.

I'm happy that Hannigan has agreed to come back for American Reunion. There was a part of me that thought she was going to turn it down because she's on a hit show, How I Met Your Mother, and doesn't exactly need the work. She could have said she was too busy or just didn't feel like doing the movie, but the fact that she said yes, is good news.

Escalation Map Pack for CoD: Black Ops

A new map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops has been announced!

It's called Escalation and it'll be available for the Xbox 360 (most likely for 1200 Microsoft points) on May 3, 2011. As of now, there is no word for when it'll be available on the PS3 or PC, but just like the First Strike map pack, it'll probably be a month later on June 3rd.

The map pack will feature five new maps with four being multiplayer maps and the fifth will be a new zombie map.

The four multiplayer maps are:

Hotel - Takes place on the roof of a Cuban hotel and casino in Havana.

Convoy - Takes place at an ambushed US military convoy.

Zoo - Takes place at an abandoned Soviet Russian zoo.

Stockpile - Takes place at a remote Russian farm town that houses secret WMD facilities.

The zombie map is called Call of the Dead and will feature new playable characters.

Unfortunately, no video has been released showing any of the maps or if there is one, I wasn't able to find it. I'll be keeping an eye out for one and post it when/if it's released.

Saints Row: The Third

Checking out upcoming video game releases on Amazon.com, I became excited when I saw that a third Saints Row, Saints Row: The Third, will be released on November 15, 2011. It will be available on the Xbox 360 and PS3.

From Stick Twiddlers, THQ released some details about the story:

"Years after taking Stilwater for their own, the Third Street Saints have evolved from street gang to household brand name, with Saints sneakers, Saints energy drinks and Johnny Gat bobble head dolls all available at a store near you.

The Saints are kings of Stilwater, but their celebrity status has not gone unnoticed. The Syndicate, a legendary criminal fraternity with pawns in play all over the globe, has turned its eye on the Saints and demands tribute. Refusing to kneel to the Syndicate, you take the fight to Steelport, a once-proud metropolis reduced to a struggling city of sin under Syndicate control."

I came across the first game by accident while at Best Buy a few years back and ended up really enjoying the game. Being a fan of the first, I just had to get the second one when it was released back in 2008, so I will definitely be buying the third one when it's released in November of this year. It's a no brainer, for me.

The only bad thing is that a few more games are going to be released around the same time (Gears of War 3 on September 20th, Batman: Arkham City on October 3rd and Uncharted 3 on November 1st), so it's going to be difficult to find time to play it and the other games that are to be released later this year, but I'm sure I'll find a way.

After reading the news, I immediately had to check out the teaser trailer and it's so awesome, I have to share it with others, so check it out!

Deadliest Catch and Parking Wars Coming Back for Another Season

Two of my favorite reality tv shows will have their season premieres next week, Deadliest Catch and Parking Wars.

These two shows are not only entertaining, but quite addicting because when either of them are on, I have to watch. To anyone who hasn't seen any of these shows, I suggest that you at least check them out just to see what they're about. If you end up not liking them, that's fine because I know that not everyone is going to like the same shows.


Deadliest Catch will have its seventh season premiere on Tuesday, April 12th at 9pm ET on the Discovery Channel.

"New blood, old wounds and rivalries that never die. For some it's a season of change; for others, a chance to make a name for themselves, but some things remain constant: the perilous, icy waters of the Bering Sea and most dangerous job in the world..."

This season, two new boats will be featured, Ramblin Rose and Seabrooke. They will be joined by the regulars Northwestern, Cornelia Marie, Time Bandit, Wizard and Kodiak.

The fifth season premiere for Parking Wars begins on Saturday, April 16th at 10/9c on A&E.

Plot and Character Details for Piranha 3DD

Bloody-Disgusting was able to get their hands on the early plot details for the upcoming sequel Piranha 3DD:

"The sequel continues down the path of "ridiculous" as the piranha this time make their way into swimming pools, pipes, plumping and such at a newly opened waterpark named "Wilderness Waters"! The race is on to save the town from these flesh-eating creatures that are leaving a bloodbath in their wake."

Moviehole got their hands on a character list, which consists of five characters and their descriptions. They don't include any death scenes, but from the list, one can figure out who dies and that is why I'm not posting it here. Piranha 3D was a blast to watch, so I'm excited for the sequel. I'm expecting a fun and entertaining movie that will not take itself seriously. That's not asking for too much, right?

Piranha 3DD will swim into theaters on November 23, 2011.
